Rules & Regs

Contest is open to all and no entry fee is required.

  • Pies must be homemade (including the crust) and entered in the name of the baker. Tarts will be accepted. Frozen pies will not be accepted.

  • Pies should be baked in traditional pie pans that are 8-10 inches in diameter. Non-disposable personal pie dishes may be used but must be clearly labeled with the contestant’s name. It is your responsibility to retrieve them after the contest.

  • You must bake 2 identical pies to enter (1 will be used for professional judging and 1 will be used people's choice)

  • Categories: We are accepting 20 entries in each category!

    • Sweet - any sweet pie without a fruit focus

    • Savory - anything neither sweet nor having a fruit focus

    • Fruit - a sweet pie with a fruit focus

  • Pies must be checked in at the brewery between 11 - 11:45 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2024 

  • Professional pie judging will be held from 12-1 p.m. Pie-loving civilians may judge for the People’s Choice Award from 12-2:30 p.m. Awards will be announced at 3 p.m.
