Join us for the release of the 2019 Brinktoberfest our Oktoberfest! In honor of the season we will have a Masskrugstemmen (aka Stein-Holding Contest). Steinholding is a traditional Bavarian strength contest in which competitors hold a full one-liter beer stein (or Masskrug/Mass in German) out in front of their bodies with a straight arm, parallel to the ground. The cost to compete is just $15 which includes a liter of beer and stein to take home!
Starting at 6:30pm we're doing a juice box hoisting for the kiddos because we think they should get to be a part of the fun! Then we will roll into our men and women's heats starting around 7pm. We'll award both a Woman and Man winner!
Winners will go home with a Brink gift card!
We all know that Cincinnati is known for their chili, but how does your compete? Today we celebrate all styles - Traditional Red Chili, Chili Verde, Vegetarian Chili, and White Chicken Chili. As a special twist, you must use Brink Beer in your chili! Or just attend and enjoy tasting beers, chili, and voting for people’s choice.
No cost to enter, but the form below must be completed and submitted by 10/9 in order to compete into the chili cook-off. Limited to the first 40 entries. One crock pot of your chili is required to compete.
Crock Pot drop off begins at 12pm (noon) on 10/19 to the brewery's tap room and must be there by 12:45.
You are required to use one of our beers in your chili. Contestants can select which beer(s) they would like to us as well as the quantity, but we will ask for you to provide beer used at the event. Crowlers can be purchased in the tap room to-go for your use.
You may also provide accoutrements for your chili (ie: cheese, sour cream, etc).
Brink Brewing Co will provide bowls and spoons.
Judging will begin at 1pm
All attendees will get one vote per category
Winners will be announced at 5pm. Prizes will be given to the winners in each category as well as an overall Best in Show and People's Choice.

The Denny Buehler Memorial Foundation, since 1980, has provided assistance to members of the local community who are in financial need, especially to families dealing with catastrophic health events. Over 50 families and individuals have received direct financial assistance from the DBMF. The funds will be used to purchase medical debt within the state of Ohio which we will then forgive, wiping the debt out completely.

Local artist, John Lanzador, loves art and is well-versed in making art across a variety of mediums. He's fluent in carving, painting, drawing and even working with chalk. Lanzador finds inspiration in outsider art, tattoo shops, botanical illustrations, toys, food, pop art, illuminated manuscripts, comic books and even Mexican lottery bingo cards.
John is an educator who is passionate about working for the greater good. He’s exhibited his art in several galleries and institutions. He’s collaborated with ArtWorks of Cincinnati, BLDG and Visionaries + Voices on community projects and trained youth apprentices to become part of the vibrant art culture of Cincinnati.

The ALS Association Central and Southern Ohio Chapter is hosting “The Walk to Defeat ALS” on Sunday, September 15 at Winton Woods. Currently there is no cure for ALS. We have 2 teams fundraising for the Walk to Defeat ALS.
On August 6th, $1 from every pint sold to support fundraising efforts of Team Smilin Paul & Team Falhaber.
Ultimately, all proceeds will go to the ALS Association for research, patient services and finding a cure.
St. Clare Parish is an integral part of the College Hill community. The Parish holds a fundraising event called Evening for Excellence in September, and this year we will be helping them jump start their fundraising for this event, by donating $1 from every pint sold on 7/30 to support fundraising efforts. Ultimately funds raised will support things such as community outreach programs.
In the early 90's, long before people were talking about craft beer, our Uncle Jack sparked our interest in the craft beer world. His refrigerator was full of only specialty, full-flavored beers from his travels abroad. His passion and insight are what led us into brewing and travelling across the globe to hundreds of breweries. The spark that Uncle Jack lit many years ago is what ultimately drove us to want to open a brewery. More than anything though, he taught us that there is so much more to good beer than just the ingredients brewed...
Good beer is about the people, the stories, and the experience.
We were thrilled Uncle Jack was able to make it the opening of Brink Brewing. Jack lost his fight with cancer on August 15, 2017, just months after we opened. We knew we wanted to do something annually to celebrate Jack’s spirit; of course that meant enjoying good beer, music, and friends old & new.
As part of Jack Fest we will be releasing a barrel aged Duncan Clan, the beer named after Uncle Jack.

Adopt A Book is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing disadvantaged kids with books of their own and to encourage a love of reading. They distribute new and gently used children's books to over 100 schools and programs serving children in SW Ohio and Northern Kentucky. We will be donating $1 from every pint sold to support fundraising efforts of Adopt A Book.
We will also be accepting book (new or gently used) at the event! Bring a book and grab a pint!

The Inturns are a high-energy rock trio from Cincinnati, Ohio that’s hell-bent on making sure you have as good a time as they do. Playing what they dub as “power indie,” their sound draws heavily from old school rock n’ rollers like Hendrix, The Who, and Kiss while blending elements from more modern acts such as The Strokes and the Arctic Monkeys to create a sound all their own. With the release of their EP “Sleeper” in November 2016 and LP “Flashpoint” in September 2017, they aim to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with wherever good music and good times are to be had!
Ride Cincinnati is a grassroots bike tour that raises money for life-saving cancer research. We will be donating $1 from every pint sold on June 18th to support fundraising efforts of Ride Cincinnati. All money made during this event will directly benefit the Cincinnati community and will be supporting the research at the Barrett Cancer Center.
