Kelly’s Candy is a traditional English-style Barley Wine Ale aged in Bourbon Barrels. For this ale we used an extra long boil to bring out extra carmelization of the robust malt bill featuring Marris Otter. English hops and yeast were used and then it spent 9 months slumbering in the barrel. A Perfect companion for nights around the fireplace or a campfire and pairs best with rich desserts or strong cheeses. We call this beer Kelly's Candy because it's just like candy to our co-founder & Head Brewer, Kelly Montgomery.
